The next Oral Health Access Council (OHAC) Meeting is on October 27, 2014 from 9:00AM – 3:00PM at the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. This interactive meeting will focus on developing a new collective vision for OHAC, that will take this vital California oral health coalition to the next level. As part of our next meeting we will be discussing a plan that will increase our reach and impact and allow more of our membership to be more actively involved in our movement. We ask that our constituency please read the following report from the Permanent Steering Committee regarding potential changes to be made for OHAC. Pay it Fur-ward: Our First Annual Animal Shelter Supply Drive

The Animal Rescue League of Pittsburgh provides temporary shelter, food, and medical attention to abandoned, neglected, injured, and abused animals, restoring lost animals to their owners or finding new homes for them. Pet overpopulation is a major problem across the country and especially here in Pittsburgh, where countless animals need a home due to over breeding. Both of Dr. Troupe’s dog’s (Baloo and Olive) were rescued or adopted, and we are a strong advocate of animal adoption. Help us support the Animal Rescue League so that we can raise awareness for this great organization and help care for the animals they are housing until they find a new home. Bring any of the above listed items to the office in February, and we will trade
